what-not-to-do-as-you-find-an-erectile-dysfunction-cureThere are many men who are concerned about their sexual health. They may have had a few occasions when they were not able to achieve an erection. Or they may feel like their erections are just not like they used to be. Men often go online or ask their doctors, “Do I have ED?”

These men soon learn they are not alone. The good news is that there is an erectile dysfunction cure, whether it’s medication, vacuum therapy, stress reduction, or surgery. As you learn everything you need to know about ED, it’s just as important to focus on what not to do as well as what to do.

The following are some common reactions to discovering you have ED and steps you should definitely not take.

Worry or stress about it. First off, it’s important to relax. An estimated 50% of men age 40 to 70 experience some erectile dysfunction in their lifetimes. The diagnosis and  treatment are both very common, so there’s no reason to have anxiety or stress. You can trust that men everywhere are experiencing ED and are finding an erectile dysfunction cure to treat it and reclaim their lives. Erectile dysfunction is not the end of your sex life.

Keep smoking and drinking. That said, having ED is still a wake-up call to improve your health. Many men who have ED also have histories of excessive smoking and drinking. One study found that men who smoked more than 20 cigarettes a day had a 60% higher risk of ED, compared to men who never smoke. In addition, heavy drinking can cause liver and nerve damage, and can interfere with male sex hormone levels, which can cause ED. If you suspect you have ED, cut back on these vices, and give yourself every opportunity to feel and perform better.

Ignore it. Many men are embarrassed about having ED, and as a result they may want to sweep it under the rug and pretend it doesn’t exist. This is not a good thing to do. One, you may be inclined to avoid sexual relations, which can wreak havoc on relationships and intimacy. Your partner will internalize your lack of interest, and a whole host of other issues will come to surface. It is best to get it out in the open, discuss what’s going on, and start working toward a solution. Two, because the symptoms of ED often coincide with symptoms of other health issues such as obesity, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol; more than just your erection could be at stake. If you’re experiencing ED, don’t ignore it. Consult your doctor as soon as possible.

Give up. Finally, if you suspect you have ED, do not give up and assume your sex life is over. Erectile dysfunction affects more than 30 million men, and there are multiple options for an erectile dysfunction cure, including medication, counseling, and vacuum assisted therapy.

Millions of men every day discover they have ED. And, millions of men every day discover effective ED solutions that help them reclaim the life they love. They often find an erectile dysfunction cure, even when other treatments might fail. Learn more in our free ebook.Natural Remedies for Erectile Dysfunction
